I implore, using the term Data Centers neutralizes their nefarious use. We need reference them as Data Spy Warehouses or such, to signal their ultimate goal of building the electronic panopticon for our prison.

Futurism’s Joe Wilkins has obviously not visited Lake Tahoe. It is not a town; rather, a region with a number of villages sprinkled around the lake, ski resorts and large casinos (in Nevada).
From the article:
"Responding to the outcry by local residents, a spokesperson for NV Energy told Fortune that the decision to uncouple from Lake Tahoe was a “planned transition for many years, not a reaction to recent developments.”
Given that residents now have less than a year to secure a new electrical supplier, though, it’s hard to imagine why the announcement was left for the last minute — and who will ultimately pay the price." (Emphasis mine.)
I can imagine one right off the bat–precedence. Try it out on a small community and see what happens.
I dunno. There are a lot of wealthy people with nice properties up there. It is very popular place, winter and summer, so it should be interesting to watch.
