The creeps put a wedge in the door using “the children” because the parents/guardians won’t or can’t assume responsibility for them. Next a digital ID for the parents for every transaction. Sneaky and in line with the political paymasters requirements for more campaign funds to continue in their prestigious “seat of power”.

That’s a fun show. I didn’t know the difference between true draught beer vs keg beer. Hm. Here on ‘draught’ it’s still being pumped from a keg.
In my opinion, generally speaking, one pint is a tease. two is very good. three is perfect. and four is too much. :slight_smile:
Yeah, the new UK is shuttering public houses at very fast rate.
I hope the good local ones can survive. Not corporate crap.
As a kid touring UK one of my hobbies was writing down all the pub names I saw (mid, and early 90s).
I have the notebook somewhere.

The CAMRA crowd call it ‘Distillers beer’ or ‘Prohibition beer’ if processed in non traditional ways.

I use a pressure barrel and don’t mind a few hop particulates making its way into the glass.

Looks like the new playbook is: Find the most hot-button issue that might work (kids’ safety, illegal immigration, etc.), and use it as an excuse to roll out the digital gulag. Then again, if I think back to 9/11 and the Patriot Act, maybe it’s not so new.

Across from where I play drums here in Colorado there is a tiny microbrewery. It is very good stuff. Very natural and lots of different plant flavours. I had to grow to enjoy IPAs living here.
