Agree with you, omnimatter!! It was my own experiences within the middle-class Bible Belt Mentality that forced me into figuring out what the heck was wrong with what I had been taught…let’s say brainwashed into. Unless one has something that comes along to “break the bubble” one has no need to inquire into anything! And…who would want to admit one’s whole life had been a lie?!

Absolutely hat doffing bingo. But the psychology of abuse, even at very large scales is quite identical to the psychology of the abused individual. The abused become the abusers by internalizing the commands of their oppressor. Reich’s Mass Psychology of Fascism defines it as “armoring” and it is well defined within the modern understanding of NPD. But the ancients had a very clear understanding of the phenomena hence the myth of Narcissus among the Greeks, along with the myth of Ovid. Very clear. Nothing new.

I’ve completely overlooked that Giza comes standard equipped with a neuropsych expert in-house. Thanks for the reference. I used to tell the nurses the prevelance is due to the Boomers having been mass MK-Ultra’d.
During residency, I observed so many NPD cases among staff and patients, it hit me like an avalanche. It’s VASTLY misunderstood in family medicine and therefore underdiagnosed to a point of absurdity.

I inadvertently stumbled across the trauma literature in that there had been some research done looking into the connection between trauma and its effects on reasoning.

Ah, the subject emphasis in your posts and commentary make sense. I, too, stumbled upon the varying biological effects of trauma without trying, but it has clarified the last 125 years of American “culture” tremendously.

I haven’t felt the need to comment here for a while, but your comment had me dancing around the room laughing about “confirmation bias”.
For some time now, I’ve been amassing snippets of information about the origin of psychopaths, who seem to be different to, and prey on, normal, decent human beings. My working hypothesis is that Yahweh was not a god, but a technologically advanced being who came here perhaps as part of a group of Gardeners described in Lobsang Rampa’s book “The Hermit” and created hybrids using his genes and genes from the people on Earth at the time. Re-reading the Old Testament in light of what I’ve been seeing today, it’s pretty obvious Yahweh, himself, was a psychopath. (I remember being shocked as a teenager that he would order the killing of “every man, woman, child, sheep and donkey” of at least one group of people and the wiping out of several others and wondered how people got from the warring, intolerant, downright mean Yahweh to the loving God many Christians believe in?)
Another book that helped me piece this together was “The Shining Ones” by Christian and Barbara Joy O’Brien. They place the Garden of Eden in the Rachalya Basin near Mount Hermon, based on descriptions in the books of Enoch. This area is just south of the Black Sea.
I haven’t found much information on the dispersal of these hybrids, but, as you said, the “footprints of [their] unseen hand” (to quote Sir Boyle Roche) appear to show up at various points in history. Anatoly Fomenko describes a group very like them leaving or being kicked out of Byzantium and absconding to the swamps of Venice with an enormous treasure bilked from people by charging usury. He also thinks some of them may have left Byzantium and founded Rome prior to that.
I think the difficulty scholars have in identifying the “Sea Peoples” that plagued the Bronze Age Mediterranean is because they were the Phoenicians and Yahweh’s psychopathic hybrids had re-branded themselves as Phoenicians. I think this in part because I found a reference (and then lost it) that Phoenicians fled to Spain among known Jews at the fall of Carthage. Somewhere along the line, I think Yahweh’s psychopath hybrids decided it would be a good idea to hide behind actual Jews and obfuscate their trail as much as they could.
Anyway, this is a precis of what I have concluded over several years and many books. I know many of you are Christians and I’m sorry if it offends you, but remember, it’s a hypothesis, my attempt to understand the crazy world we live - which bears little resemblance to the world as I thought it was decades ago.

Bill, you’re actually God in the flesh, and you just have to harness the power of positivity – don’t you know? Excessive positivity and an “up by the bootstraps” mentality will lift you out of poverty every time. Nevermind pesky inflationary forces, limitless socialist programs for the unproductive, and that silly star in the neighborhood which is about to remind humans about mortality.
