Is this reference to “Our” Government talking about the “united” states federal system and “Southern Border” talking about Mexico’s Northern border??

Yea, our government uses the word “invasion” selectively :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:

So typical of invaders to do that, lol.

We prefer the term “colonized” when referring to ourselves in the past tense and “spreading democracy” when referring to ourselves in the present tense… However there is a geographical nuance, when referring to our neighbors in the south, we use the term “undocumented migration” and when referring to our enemies in Russia, we prefer the term “invasion”

“Our,” “We,” and/or “Us,” . . . these are references to “Americans,” as in people who live in North America between Canada and Mexico, right?

The folks in South America, they are not considered to be Americans. Only those in the mid-northern colonies can claim that title, and only if their ancestors were members of the English rebellion.

I’m being facetious in my above post of course… But the “we” is referring to Americans, more specifically the “official” position of the United States. It’s mostly a joke about how people frame information in a way that is most convenient for their political objectives

Is silly can help to make jokes about serious problems.

Was going to joke it was probably one of the Columbian cartell bosses who “ordered” closure of Mexico’s north border, they can’t deal with any more gringos in the south lol.
