… another day another “teen brawl”. … My God, I am soooo fatigued.
As Scott Adams said … “Stay away from them.”

I understand the frustration but are you pushing for vigilanteeism?
If so are you willing to lead by example?
Just playing devil’s advocate.
I read a lot of these threads which are the equivalent to coffee klatsches
With respect.

… well I do not know what you or I are to do when those who should be taking care of these things are not. Voting has been shown to be ineffective. Those who ask for our vote and promise to do things have lied to us. Do the words “Mass Deportation, there will be millions and millions of them” - DJT ring a bell? … Talk at this point is the ultimate in public performance vapidity. Instead of vigilantism we should from here on refer to it simply as self preservation.

… please tell us what is to be done. The police body cam footage is on the web. Take a look at it and please tell us what to do. If you look closely, Nowak’s hands are pale, blue and limp. The police have to lift his pale, limp, blue hands so that they can place the handcuffs on him. Hmmm. When was the last time someone who had lost this much blood had to be controlled with handcuffs? Also, please listen closely to what is being said to him by the police. … Why are these people in Western Countries? No country needs these invaders. What obligation do any of us in The Western World have to them? They have and continue to kill their host countries, they kill the host countries traditions and culture. Most of all they are killing white people and raping women and children while draining the host countries of resources that need to be spent on those who belong in those countries. … Welcome to the Western White World … How many more examples of this do we need to see before we start to behave as if we know and acknowledge what is happening? At this point voting for a particular political party or person will not save England. England is a FAILED state as are France and Germany. USSAIPAC is unfortunately not far behind.

Can we validate with unbiased data that it’s worse than it ever was in some way?

bar chart showing long-term trends in U.S. juvenile (under 18) violent crime arrest rates (per 100,000 juveniles).

  • 1994 Peak: Rates around 500 per 100,000 — the historic high during the 1990s crime wave.
  • Long-term decline: By the late 2010s/2019, rates had fallen ~50–70% from the peak.
  • 2020 dip: Sharp drop (partly due to pandemic lockdowns/reduced reporting).
  • 2022–2023 bump: Temporary rise in some violent categories (homicides/weapons), but still far below historical levels.
  • 2024: Renewed decline, with juvenile violent arrests ~12% below 2019 and ~75% below the 1990s peak

more Americans follow local crime news than most other topics except weather.

Social media and 24/7 news amplify specific events like “teen takeovers” making them feel more widespread even as aggregate teen/juvenile violence trends remain near historic lows long-term.

My question is, if there is any truth to this data (I don’t know), is the media doing what it always intended to do?

Apparently Fox has an entire team ensuring a death, destruction and mayhem story hits the headlines everyday.

I was a big fan of Scott Adams before Trump, MAGA, social media. Read his stuff back in the 90’s. I loved Scott’s work related to peak performance, success etc, etc, etc,

I stopped listening to Scott when he got TOO political. He thought we were nuts for not getting the jab. And his thoughts on a higher power and conspiracy theories. He didn’t believe in any invisible forces. But the paradox was he used them for his success but was unable to explain why it worked.

I knew his attempt at making friends with a top guy from Black Lives Matter wasn’t going to turn out well. It didn’t turn out well.

He was reading a survey by Rasmussen who interviewed 130 black people. HUGE POOL. And used closed ended leading questions.

A follow up poll by another agency, came up with the opposite conclusions that 67% of black people said it’s ok to be white.

You see where I am going with this?

I’m feeling there is an agenda to put us in a constant state of hypervigilance, fear and political divide.

I’ll be the first one to admit that I feel more hostility toward some groups that never existed within me.

They said that the 90’s crime spree was terrible. yet, I walked around Gotham all times of day and night without giving it one thought. Now my head is on swivel all the time yet they say crime is down.

Polls might be a dangerous thing.

Scott had an innate ability to size up human nature. He’d be the last person I’d cancel. But I didn’t always agree with him.

I bet ya every person here knows which neighborhoods not to venture into and what type of people not to associate with? Maybe?.

At my age, I don’t think I need advice on that matter.

Statitics are as suspect as the CIA news.
Yet the Migration as Replacement looks pretty much the Agenda.
As does Technocracy.

“They” want to clear out the current world order.
Depopulate
Bankrupt the World Economies
Destroy the Worlds Petroleum economies
Deatroy the World Supply Chains
Clear the lands[war, fire, floods, etc]

ALL to bring in a new system that is, for one…
Not Price Pased.
You will own NOTHING!

To get there…?
They will fudge whatever is needed.
Do whatever is necessary.
If Billions need to go.
So be it.

Violence is a given.

I used to be part of the gold bug clan. Long time ago. I believed that all government statistics were a lie. Economic. Until I saw people who were able to forecast significant changes by years of back testing. Aka…when this statistic shows this, this has always happened. There are poor ways to model such statistics and there are good ways.

Given I believe in dialectical discourse (pursuit of truth), I cannot summarily dismiss the statistics countered only by rhetorical statements. I however can easily embrace a counter argument if it’s made. Learned a long time ago, to change my opinion on a dime given new information

In the book, “Superforecasting” by Tetlock, great book, he shows that every day people were able to outperform the experts in almost all forms of forecasting when they incorporated three habits. use habits like probabilistic thinking, evidence gathering, and constant updating to sharpen judgments about future events.

Scott Adams non-sequitor. I rarely use Appeal to authority. It is considered a logical fallacy. Aka, it doesn’t strengthen an argument. And that’s why I enjoyed Scott. Not for his opinion, but for the rules that he intuitively had a grasp of that date back to Aristotle.

In a 2018 tweet, Adams stated:

“Appeal to authority is a fallacy for topics that have some uncertainty about them. Such as climate change. But if you asked professional tennis players to distinguish a baseball game from a tennis game, they’d get it right 100% of the time.”

It was my policy NEVER to sip coffee with Scott. Why? Because I studied hypnosis too. I am not taking anybody else’s induction and he was good at it. And boy does he have a bunch of copy cats attempting to do the same thing.

Sure, it might seem anti-social that I didn’t drink coffee with Scott. Or it might be I was red pilled a long time ago. It didn’t help that I don’t drink coffee. Tea drinker.

I personally think a better method would have been to get all his listeners ripped on Scotch during a morning podcast.

There are more interesting things about Scott Adams that I think are amazing. The things he taught have been taught for years in esoteric traditions and quotes from the New Testament. He believed none of it. And I think that’s exactly why he was chosen, yeah I said, chosen to teach these things. He needed to teach other non-believers in the least offensive way possible without any esoteric or religious quotes. There might be something profound in that. Or it might just be me
