May God forgive us! What a blasphemous, apostate country the UK has become

… one might think that it is a wee bit problematic that a perfected God has difficulty communicating clearly and distinctly.
When Spinoza was being Anathematized he is reported to have made comment to the group with which he was dealing that he (Spinoza) found it odd that they thought that God had created beings that were incapable of understanding him (God).

… “Peace” may be brought about by many means and methods. If you don’t think this to be the case just ask any of our three letter friends. Pax Romana … Pax Americana anyone?

Peace via the sword ?
That would be the bogus claim of US foreign policy makers.
Yeah, out of all the theological questions, to me this is a doozy. I’ve yet to be convinced one way or the other by arguments put forth on the topic, though my gut sways me in one direction.

And that, I think, is the problem. Why do we think God communicates with us through a book or a priest? Why do we not think communication might be a lot more personal, i.e., through the non-local minds we all have access to, despite this crazy existence?

Thanks to centuries of training by the churches of the books, we have given over our sovereignty - and our ability to find truth - to other agencies, when we have it within ourselves. Obviously this requires training ourselves differently, i.e., to look for and recognize it…and to locate our innate moral compass. I do not think it is impossible to do so, however.

P.S., I realize what I’ve just said will not sit well with many. I was blasted as a narcissist, or some such label, on another site, but I suppose we don’t really get to know one another terribly well online.

Agree. Belief in what is wrong, right or no consequence is taught, knowing is innate. If one does not know the difference God help them…

Is it truly Gods’ difficulty communicating, or, humanity’s refusal to understand what is being communicated?

You said pure truth.

To believe that truth can only be found in a book, or trough any exterior authority, is engineered madnass, and it infects the mind that ceases to question infinitely everything that can be questioned.

Truth is in a consistent process of constant questioning everything inside and outside of ourselves.

Wise question.
If it has difficulty communicationg, it can´t be a god, and even less the supreme God
