So I’m fairly certain I’ll be facing another fight at work this winter, I doubt the corporate overlords are pleased with having to grant all the exemptions at the plant I work at. The one thing I did submit to which I don’t plan on repeating is reporting my vax status. I still feel bad about submitting to the HR priesthood. What I can’t figure out is if I can invoke HIPPA as a defense in a “private” company. I’ve heard conflicting opinions. One way or another I have made up my mind, just not sure about my approach. Flipping them the bird might not be my best defense. : )

Class Action Settlement Over Shot Mandate Is a Wake-Up Call
Aug 1, 2022
The nation’s first class action settlement involving a COVID shot mandate should be a wake-up call to every employer that did not accommodate or exempt employees who opposed the COVID shots for religious reasons. NorthShore University HealthSystem will pay more than $10.3 million for unlawfully discriminating against more than 500 current and former health care workers and for denying religious exemptions from the COVID shot mandate. . . .
