It’s sad how Europe is nothing but a cat’s paw in all this. By population and production it far outweighs Russia, and is about 2/3 of the US’ GDP and a bit more population. Yet they are just meekly standing by as their ‘leaders’ sell it off to the highest bidder.

The EU is modelled after the Doema and has the same problems as the Doema but @ a far more faster pace. The leaders are bonkers, arrogant and inept beyond belief.

I don’t think they are inept, they just have different metrics for success. Their countries might burn or freeze, but they don’t identify with their countrymen so that doesn’t matter to them. What matters is that no matter what happens they’ll be chilling in a Swiss chalet or an equatorial island with 100s of millions in the bank.

For my money, this whole mess is about the NS 1&2 pipelines. If the gas came from, oh I dunno, say the Saudi peninsula or Texas, there would not be an issue. There are 2 completely separate and competing narratives, the western media narrative of the russian bear swiping more meek and innocent states into its cave, and the russian narrative of legal disputes, ancient territorial and cultural claims. It’s a matter of who controls your heart and mind as to who you believe, I guess.
At the end of the day, no money will be harmed and a load of US and EU senators and their buddies will make off with the goods, or bunch of russian senators (ne oligarchs) will do the same. The rest of us will be impoverished and diminished.

On the upside, maybe Greta “the Doom Potato” Thrunburg and her Dionysian cult will slink off to build more windmills while the EU crumples into a ball of paper and the French and Germans fire up the coal and nuclear reactors to provide internal energy becomes a resurgent priority.

I tried to explain to my neighbor that “windmill” makes people feel good by thinking green but that in actuality all “green” means it runs on gas. Big eyes and hear him thinking how crazy I am.
All EU dreamers will find out the hard way in many a thing in the months to come but as a european myself I am not looking forward to it.

I wrote it, hoping in mind that all people in the world have a divine spark engrained in their soul and baptized Christian specifically a breath of Holy Spirit in them. Maybe I was wrong.
