I’m not Catholic but have been looking into Gibson and Caviezel for a while now. Both consider themselves staunch Conservative Catholics and are basically at odds (putting it nicely) with Pope Francis for numerous reasons, esp re: Benedict. In fact, there’s a vast number of Catholics rebelling against Francis and spreading their loathing of him all over the internet and elsewhere. In their opinion, Francis is quite the villain. What? Conservative Catholics don’t like Jesuits? You know, the ones who invented the blue marble and the story that takes God out of control?
There’s certainly enough material to make a four part series, maybe add a series of prosecutions too.
