EV’s aren’t about the environment, or whatever nonsense their narrative wants to spin.
EV’s are all about control.
Control is all about the software.
Software is all about - CODE!
Code could implement censorship and surveillance, as well as forestall them; there is no magic place called cyberspace, only the cyberspace built by people.
Computer code is the defacto regulator of cyberspace, code sets the terms on which cyberspace is experienced.
Believe it or not; automatic software updates are the chosen way to target your computer.

Bottom line?
If “your” government cannot own/regulate and control the software you use;
you will be at the mercy of corporations that do.
