75% of FDA approved meds gave no proof they work ... this article is disturbing in Soooooo many ways

And the TRUST MOLECULE continues to get smaller and smaller and smaller …

… and could we get a list of those drugs that do not meet the minimal proof thresholds? …
Think about … 0 to 75% is a passing grade for the FDA. Would you want your surgeon to have been graded on a curve? … and, last but not least, if we know these meds do not work WHY are they allowed to be sold? (rhetorical question)

I guess the Medical Schools have been dumbed down as well … Surprise, surprise

from the article - "A 2016 survey published in JAMA asked practising physicians a simple question—what does FDA approval actually mean?

Only 6% got it right.

The rest assumed that it meant the drug had shown clear, clinically meaningful benefits—such as helping patients live longer or feel better—and that the data was statistically sound.

But the FDA requires none of that."

AND, when certain drugs are combined?
They’re Deadly Cocktails.

I take some heart pills.
But, I wondering about those.
Stopped the water pill.
Found out that removes salt.
If you drink a lot, it will not be good.
[liquids]
So, i colored that gone.

I’d like to ween myself off them.
I really think its all about the $$$,

Now I’m taking them every other day.
Then, every three days.
You get the idea.

Can’t trust “them” anymore.

They’ve CRO$$ED the RUBICON long ago…
Hell, today’s blog on Synthetic Man - another REDLINE crossing!

I worked in a state agricultural regulatory office over 30 yrs ago as a minor staff person, the equivalent of a state level FDA for animal health products rather than human health (though as many know, some companies have a division for each - Albert Bourla of the jabs actually came from the Animal Health division of Pfizer).
What made me ill was watching the regulatory officials fawn on the multinationals, who gave great parties at conferences for regulators. I saw regulatory capture up close & personal.
And that was before the PDUFSA was passed, requiring the regulatory structure to fund itself by collecting fees from the companies being regulated, rather than running independently on taxpayer-provided budgets. The predictable happened - the companies controlled more & more the “regulators,” who became rubber stampers.
It’s no wonder the FDA approves nearly anything the multinationals put before it - they’re monopolies not just in their own industries.
I remember reading from a Nader organization at that time that pharma companies were wealthier than many nation states - 33 years ago.

A Citizens United template; for capturing any accountability, placing them all in file 13…

… and these are the ones they mention. I can not even begin (and do not want to) imagine those not mentioned.

So many ways indeed, especially considering the possibility that no :“science” was done at all in the development of these potions.

I remember working in the 2000 election to get the Green Party on the ballot in Texas, which succeeded, and then ran the Nader/LaDuke campaign … progressives and environmentalists also supported but as expected, Nader failed but the campaign brought many ‘alternative’ groups together for a short time and did influence local elections and politics in positive ways. Today it’s a different story, sad to say…

Well, with heart medication it depends on what your problem is. Some conditions can be very well treated with natural remedies, but others not. Over here in Germany we still have a strong communitiy of holistic practicioners, although the government is working on banning all the natural remedies and dietary supplements. I don`t know how your chances of finding profound information and buying the right remedies in the USA are, but I guess in Germany it is easier to get a hold of good stuff.

One almost wishes - at least some students of alchemy believed there was a higher power than their greed that was in the universe.

Thank you for your posts, Baronesse! Yes, I think Europe may at times be better than U.S. for alternative health. I am a heart patient & can tell you if you read Substack, you can find some US doctors who are appalled at their own profession. Not just the COVID crew who fought back in the planscamdemic & lost licenses.
I follow a cardiologist on Substack who is still in the mainstream but - bless him! - is skeptical about all the newfangled drugs. I used some of his arguments to protect myself from a nurse practitioner who wanted me to use statins. I won - I lost weight & changed diet & chol went down.
I visited Dr Patch Adams’ Gesundheit Farm years ago & met a German couple who practiced anthroposophical medicine (Steiner, as you know I’m sure). That impressed me! Several other international healthcare people visited there.

Then thank you, Margaret! My husband & I were Nader/LaDuke voters in Ohio - we also collected signatures for Dennis Kucinich one year …
