I just wanted to share a prayer that I find special 
Dear God,
As we gather at this table,
we invite You into this space, not only into our home,
but into the temple of our hearts and bodies.
Cleanse us, Lord, of the noise we carry, the busyness, the distractions,
the clutter of ego, pride, fear, and division.
Drive out the false bargains we make with the world,
the need to be right, to be first, or to be in control.
Make this table a house of prayer.
Let our words nourish, not wound.
Let our silence be full of peace, not tension.
Let us see one another not with old stories,
but with new eyes, cleansed, clear, and full of compassion.
May this food restore our bodies,
and may Your Spirit restore our souls.
Re-center us in truth, in love, and in stillness,
so that this meal becomes more than food,
it becomes communion.
