I may have posted this before, but what the heck. It’s Saturday night after a long day, and a long day tomorrow and Monday… and I found this recording of the Boston Pops performing PDQ Bach’s Concerto for Piano versus Orchestra with Professor Schikele himself, the “discoverer” of this unfortunate work, performing the concertato… if you’re into music humour and classical music satire, enjoy (PS the Concerto begins at about marker 25:00, but the rest of the concert features some Johann Strauss JR and Offenbach)
