It’s a very good point in your blog you make about the remoteness of the murdered scientist’s dwelling.
The average yokel like me reads LA County and just thinks of the city, but on the map you can see he is way out in the middle of the desert (was) , all on the total other side of the mountains. A random murder like this makes no sense , outside of being targeted.

This year its the horse in combination with the “fire” element.

The last time this combination ruled a year was back in 1966 as it appears every 60th year.

Now; the Facebook set up of rules and guidelines have been expanded and or changed,again? Wow.
First thing that came to mind,regarding the “posting post death” was the old days mobsters, lurking in the graveyards, taking notes of identities they could steal.

the thing for me
is that BOTH of the recently murdered physicists/academics stories were pushed.
i think there’s a low level always happening assassination program that has been ongoing forever. it’s cheap and easy. heart attack guns make it NOT a story. a GUN gun makes it story-able.
