A Related "Subject" and question(s) to BlakeC's vidchat submission for 5 April 2024

After reading BlakeC’s submission for tomorrow’s vidchat a number of thoughts occurred to me. I don’t think I’ll have the time this evening to get the required number of coherent related thoughts together in time for tomorrow’s vidchat but I will work on something for the next vidchat.

For now take a gander at this paper (only a few pages). https://www.researchgate.net/publication/354920804_MYSTERIOUS_BOOK/link/61542c71fd7b3d12155aa0dd/download?_tp=eyJjb250ZXh0Ijp7ImZpcnN0UGFnZSI6InB1YmxpY2F0aW9uIiwicGFnZSI6InB1YmxpY2F0aW9uIn19

This paper attempts to make the case that in the famous photograph of Tesla reading at his Colorado Springs facility the “Mysterious Book” he holds in his hands is not Roger Boscovitch’s Theory of Natural Philosophy but instead is a volume of The Collected Papers of James Clerk Maxwell. If so, interesting Yes?

The questions that I think connect this paper to BlakeC’s submission are:

What Happened to Natural Philosophy? Is there an identifiable path of transition in The History of Philosophy / The History of Ideas from the 13th to 19th Centuries that resulted in the practice of Natural Philosophy becoming and culminating in the Un-Natural Philosophy situation(s) we are currently experiencing as described by BlakeC? If this transition took place could this be one of the reasons that we apparently cannot fully comprehend Tesla’s thought?

To borrow a few lines from BlakeC’s submission … I think the answer is Yes, but What say you Good Doctor?
