I never cease to be amazed and moved by the sheer grandeur and power of Widor’s two great masterpiece organ symphonies, the 5th and the 6th, and their majestic, massive, and elegant opening movements… and it’s nice to see (after some centuries of neglect), the Russians finally getting into the king of instruments:
