I guess itâs a bit of both. The situation is a little bit similar to when Trump run for president first time and the Magamovement was growing. The current government feels a landslide coming, and I guess they are right. And Iâm afraid Alice will go the same way as Trump, she will win and will do some good, and then they will make her visit the big wigs and she will be told that she has to dance in line from now on.
AfD I would describe as what might considered a conservative party, just right of centre 5 to 10 years ago. But the Overton window has moved so far left and into authoritarian left, which is massively unpopular, that even a Labour party is probably becoming âfar rightâ, any dissent will be described thusly in the EU Commission narrative.
