I would think since her books are about murder and death that a sensitivity reader would hyperventilate and freak out. But the murder part does not seem to be the issue.

No famous writers will escape if this insanity continues. How do the parallels to the Soviet Union not smack people in the face?!
Well, I’m guessing most of the morons who embrace this nonsense have never heard of the Soviet Union… Or maybe sensitivity editors have already rewritten the history of the 20th century to make sure no Marxist is offended?

I know there’s some yooha over this at the moment, as writers are standing up and demands contracts on their work not be changed post mortem.
But the changes were done in 2020 I believe.
“Repulsive eyes” are taken out. “Beautiful white teeth” cannot be used on P.O.C.
And “Oriental” is of course too much.
Personally I don’t think changing " Thy" and old words like that into the ones were using today,but to change the content and meaning to spare peoples feelings is just not gonna fly.
We all know its just the beginning of what is to come and that of course is censorship on the things that make people think for themselves or puts the powers that be in a poor light.
