Wonder how many of the good microorganisms are zapped?
More than pesticides, or chemicals?
One would think - it can’t possibly be worse.

Well yeah. Hence, "if one could be sure it’s not tampered with and doesn’t destroy crops.
Was I somehow unclear?

Crops are there.
It’s the life in the soil.
Crops are large.
The microorganisms[bacteria, fungi, viruses, protozoa, archaea, etc.] provide vital ecosystem functions. A single tablespoon of soil contains 50 billion microbes.

Sorry about that. Much can be lost on internet blogs.
One thing to remember is that most of the beneficial microbes are deeper in the soil, therefore, if this AI is just the first few inches AND if it were the real thing, meaning truly helpful to agriculture, it might work. Otherwise, no thanks.
