AI: Dystopia or Utopia?

As a sort of segue to “What if AI Isn’t Intelligence but Anti-Intelligence?” - that Dr. Farrell shared - I came across this “manifesto” of sorts. I was looking at some references about “AI in health”, and ended in the usual cul-de-sac that crosses “venture capitalism” and “unicorns” - What could go wrong, I wonder - mixing AI, health, venture capitalism and those so called “start-ups” that usually raise billions of dollars one day, and the next go bankrupt?

Anyway, I could not stomach reading everything, but it is extraordinary in some ways, as it contains pearls such as chapters named “Wage compression and job disruptions alongside increased productivity”.

Not entirely sure if it’s a sort of detailed contract documenting a Mephistophelean pact, or rather a detailed Grimoire of sorts, in the sense that almost everything it refers is an inversion of what it should say, e.g. “Enhanced healthcare and longevity” or “Enhanced human capabilities (and creativity); new experiences”.

It seems that current AI is not wired like us. We have two thirds of our neurones dedicated to signal inhibition the AI has 0 inhibition “neurons”. We form thoughts through ruthless selection and just a tiny drop in inhibition drives us to schizophrenia. The people making the AI are legit trying to build smart assistants to replace workers, but current tech only produced hallucinatory bots.

When you ask the AI to critique harshly your work it will do so as told but will hallucinate non-existant mistakes as well. The technical issues are from architecture not being good. Not from the intent of the owners.

I sometimes think a human consists of 3 things, oneself, matter and anti-matter. We seem to refuse in becoming ourselves and rule over matter and anti-matter that is part of us. We seem to choose to be ruled over by matter and or anti-matter or in other words be a rudderless empath or stone cold psychopath devoid of any wisdom. Growing up, become a person that takes responsability of oneself does not seem in the cards. We might be on the verge of breaking out of quarantine status, but I have a feeling we will be put back into quarantine or put in religious terms, the Tower of Babel moment all over again until the next cycle and humanity can try to graduate again. I wonder how much cycles have gone before and of God’s patience?

This is very true. Its not some magical spark that makes us special, but the right balance between polar opposites. God wants us to find that balance, but it seems we’re into exubérance or fanaticism.

You could say that the spark IS the balance. Fire burns and dies out, rocks are inert, we lie somewhere in between, perpetual matter and and its opposite. The topological métaphor again.

AND, it was purposely programmed that way.
Enter certain codes…
PRESTO!
Then to reverse; enter certain codes, and flip it back.
In fact; there’s a whole book of codes; regionalized, and/or individualized.
Why, it would take quite a computer; to impliment it.

FEED ME! [energy/data]
The Bottomless Pit!

AND, to top it off!
It’s designed to replace Nature; which includes Humans[1.0]!
