It is why my “smart TV” is permanently unplugged, too. Not sure what appliances I have monitoring every word… CAF warned of that a few years ago and I ran to things that I did not use every day and pulled the plug!

For example…some types of phones, TV remote controls, etc…
Must be why I receive at least two Wi-Fi connectivity offers each month for lower and lower prices. They all go into the trash bin. Every once and while a real person comes to my home with an offer. At one time I had a need of a hotspot for my phone. That has been disconnected and the Wi-Fi switch remains off. Hope that’s enough…
