Yep, and it will do everything if we let it, or believe its narratives.

The point of no return is when general AI becomes reality.
This is bad now; but, it is still ā€œdumbā€.
It relies on the force of massive data.
General intelligence AI, will be smart AND have the massive data.
Thatā€™s what ā€œtheyā€™reā€ worried about.
It IS a Game Changer.
And, that Bad Genie - wonā€™t go back into the bottle.

The problem will be, how many generations will it ā€œbirthā€, before it starts killing?
And, by that; I also mean - killing its own?

And, what kind of mind control[s] will it perfect?

G.A.W.D. = General Artificial Watchersā€™ Dominion .
That is, spiritually more like a DAWG. And Iā€™ll just leave that acronym to you.

[ No dogs were harmed in the making of this prose.]

ā€”ā€” ā€œIā€ did not write this, and is this statement is a lie.

I think sheā€™s more of a promoter and ā€œpromise keeperā€ than a PREPPER.

That doesnā€™t make her any more wrong that most of the rest of us hereā€¦

No, Iā€™m not saying wrong, Iā€™m just saying thereā€™s something about her narrative doesnā€™t sit with me right. Itā€™s Almost as fear-porn on Xanax. When she says ā€œ and If this doesnā€™t make your blood curdleā€ itā€™s like sheā€™s trying to convince me of something instead of just trying to give me good advice. Maybe itā€™s me.

Itā€™s not just you; I think theyā€™re all questionable.
I do tend to be in her court re: AI.

I would point anyone freaked out by this stuff in the direction of Terry Pratchettā€™s ā€˜Lords and Ladiesā€™. Iā€™m not aware of any text that better deals with this fundamental existential problem.
