This AI is so fantastic. It can do anything and everything imaginable. It’s like a GAWD…

Yep, and it will do everything if we let it, or believe its narratives.

According to the article it already has the masses worshipping it with their keyboards.

You really can’t believe what you hear from any news source anymore.

The point of no return is when general AI becomes reality.
This is bad now; but, it is still “dumb”.
It relies on the force of massive data.
General intelligence AI, will be smart AND have the massive data.
That’s what “they’re” worried about.
It IS a Game Changer.
And, that Bad Genie - won’t go back into the bottle.

The problem will be, how many generations will it “birth”, before it starts killing?
And, by that; I also mean - killing its own?

And, what kind of mind control[s] will it perfect?

G.A.W.D. = General Artificial Watchers’ Dominion .
That is, spiritually more like a DAWG. And I’ll just leave that acronym to you.

—— “I” did not write this, and is this statement is a lie.

I think she’s more of a promoter and “promise keeper” than a PREPPER.

That doesn’t make her any more wrong that most of the rest of us here…

No, I’m not saying wrong, I’m just saying there’s something about her narrative doesn’t sit with me right. It’s Almost as fear-porn on Xanax. When she says “ and If this doesn’t make your blood curdle” it’s like she’s trying to convince me of something instead of just trying to give me good advice. Maybe it’s me.

It’s not just you; I think they’re all questionable.
I do tend to be in her court re: AI.

I would point anyone freaked out by this stuff in the direction of Terry Pratchett’s ‘Lords and Ladies’. I’m not aware of any text that better deals with this fundamental existential problem.
