You could find plenty more articles about AI writing articles… so I’d say not very long before a lot of journalists become obsolete. (Given the quality of today’s “journalism,” I’m not sure anybody will notice the difference.) Then the tech industry will try to get AI to replace accountants, lawyers, doctors, and anyone else they can.
I don’t think AI will ever possess the human capacity for creativity, intuition, reflection, and sensory experience. Therefore, good writers, critical thinkers, those capable of deep analysis, those who can sense apt analogies, and those who can create art that truly resonates with human beings, aren’t replaceable by AI.
