These building techniques are becoming very popular in eastern Europe. I’ve been taking the trains in Asia and eastern european countries, while in-country working, and looking over the clear recapitalization efforts of the BRICS up close. Alternative brick material is all the rage to build manufacturing plants and inexpensive homes, the material is light enough to be handled by children.

I would want this tested for a minimum of 7 years in a very hot and humid area such as where I live. Believe this is the materials tried a couple of years ago here, and mold/smell was pervasive.

Or, you can just print them.

Maybe in E Europe they don’t have mortgages / bankers / home insurers. Try to get a mortgage and or insurance on some alternative building technique like that in the USA. Straw bale construction comes to mind…a cash only buyer (no mortgage / no bank loan) limits your market severely.

I’m not saying it is without merit as a building technique…just a hard sell here.
