An interesting meme... if true

If this meme is anywhere close to the truth, then I’ll let you doke out the unsettling implications:

Agree it’s problematic. I think it depends on the subject. I do a bit of auto mechanic work (don’t own new cars so must do so) . When I ask questions on fussy detailed aspects of that the answers I get usually come from (and can be found in search hits further down the list) from hobbyist blog sites. Word for word in many cases. I do try to verify when I can but sometimes that’s impossible (like: what’s the correct automatic transmission pump gear to case gap supposed to be?). The answer usually comes from a hobbyist/expert or retired professional on a blog site. Of course if AI were trained on every service bulletin ever issued by Ford since 1949 it might have better data.

In the case of Dr Farrell’s preferred hobby of pipe organs, I don’t think any info it comes up with would come from any of the above sources.

Some of the sources listed in the graphic do seem truly unreliable though.

… AI getting its facts from AI … sounds slightly circular to me.

There may be tiers of AI.
The dumbed down tier[meme]; is for those edukated in the USSA.
The next tier maybe for those designated within the next inner circle[Scarmoge Pic]
The next tier, maybe for those that have the hardware and codes.
AND, it goes on down the proverbial rabbit hole.

Want to be one of those with the hardware and/or code?
