I think they are working up to space aliens in UFOs and they are saving us all from them.

I think they are avoiding the confrontation by others of their role in the Nordstream pipeline explosion by using the UFO crap as an excuse to address the issue and buying time to “influence” the “right people” to cover their butt.
Maybe even hoping the pipeline news will die done in the 24/7 news cycle.
