Do you remember the story from around 2017, when Fitbit released a global heat map showing where users were most active based on the aggregated data. People noticed glowing lines and clusters in places that were otherwise “empty” on normal maps including parts of Antarctica.

… Yes, I do. Interesting … I just searched for the Antarctic map and can not find it. I know I posted it on GDS when it came out. Looking around on the Interbrain I also see that much of the narrative has been overwritten in the time since. Hmmmm. The name of the company is STRAVA.
Interesting shot below that I had not seen … STRAVA can not get data from inside the Pentagon but can see CIA Black Sites.
