Antarcticas Oceans Getting Saltier Melting Ice - End Of Sea Ice?

Getting prompts all the time to use AI tools.
Annoying, as are all hellish digitista roads being built by totalitarian “good intentions”.
Which brings up the following “science” article.
Another good intention to “help build” a narrative; or maintain the frame?
Still, even there lies a tail; what, pray tell is “reaklly” going on?
[as with any “science”; these Ai storied, picturous days of substantially equivalent yore.]

And they don’t know why? What kind of scientist makes a report about not knowing? Obviously more research and money is required to know that answer🤭. The downsizing of the Federal weather bureau surely has nothing to do with why the article is presented……

Indeed, the ultimate driver of the 2015 salinity increase remains uncertain, underscoring the need for scientists to revise their perspective on the Antarctic system and highlighting the urgency of further research.

At the poles there are holes
That all the salty water goes
Through from the inner Earth
Where the upside down Germans
Live and still squirmin
Send it with their waste
in their quest for Perfecting the Human Race

Dont forget there’s pterodactyls and t-rexes down there too.

When I was a kid taking swimming lessons 50+ years ago in a local lake, ‘salt licks’ for cattle were placed in the water near shore to keep the leeches away. It didn’t work. Are there leeches way down under there and if so, who’s the swimming instructor?

With all due respect to this scientist, I feel like invoking the Ethical Skeptic and his idea that the Earth from below - not from above - is warming the oceans. So how’s he gonna fix that?

Es ist ein bischen von Quatsch
Mein Poesie auf Deutsch ist Natch
Ich sagen zu Ihn
Wie Spinnsthirn’gd ich bin?
Und dann geh und denke an Schlaf

Poetry is our finest and most difficult means of expressing our thoughts. Unfortunately most of us in this era were superficially exposed to poetry never grasping its nuance and role in culture.

its fun to force yourself into meter .not to mention triple entendres it is exercise.

and also highlights how you can translate literature okay maybe but poetry is even more impossible

Identifying Iambic pentameter and others has long escaped my memory. I learned to identify for tests but never grasped the significance of poetry composition.
Later when reading about 18th and 19th century authors and their struggles to compose significant literary poetry to boost their standing with their peers who wanted to be considered poets was I made aware of poetry’s impact on literature. Good writers were usually good poets too.
