Antibiotic Resistance Could Be a Top Cause of Death by 2050, Experts Say

“Antibiotic resistance could become a leading cause of death by 2050”

‘[A[ complete market failure’ to incentivize drug companies to research and develop antibiotics, both in the US and globally, has been one of the key drivers of antibiotic resistance."

"Lawmakers on Tuesday warned that superbugs — microorganisms that have evolved to resist existing antibiotics — pose a looming public health threat that could spur the next pandemic if left unaddressed. "

“Calling…coronavirus pandemic a wake-up call for…risk of widespread infections, Sens. Michael Bennet (D-CO) and Todd Young (R-IN),…with Reps. Drew Ferguson (R-GA) and Mike Doyle (D-PA), introduced legislation…to invest in preventative research and innovative drug production”

Lawmakers warn???!!!
The way I read this is that anti-biotics are on the list of soon to come “verboten” products.
Whatever it takes to boost death it seems.

The way I read it is, here comes another ton of public funds for Big Pharma. That’s my translation of “invest in preventative research and innovative drug production.”

I suggest we all keep tincture of Usnea in our cabinets. Usnea is anti viral and antibiotic, it’s only ingredient a moss like plant gathered from mature forests. I have used it for years.
