Try putting “Tsar Nicholas II” into the “Search” function, and a couple of threads come up – maybe the one you’re looking for is there?
Thanks for the suggestion, Sunnyboy – I’ve had a look, but it wasn’t the thread itself that was about all the myriad connections between major global players. It had a link that lead to a website that was very thorough. No idea what the thread was called, though!
Don’t think that was the one, that just has a wikipedia page posted about the Pereislav Agreement besides the front pages of some NYT papers. Sorry about pasting copies of those whole wikipedia pages, that was no good.
