Thanks @peter.s.james
Super nova and where I live, we get the annular solar eclipse on Saturday. Going to be quite a time.
@peter.s.james
Thank you, kindly. I shall indeed! I’ve got my solar glasses ready and am off work this Saturday.

Eclipse occurred about 12:07pm CT here north of Houston. I don’t think it was 90% but closer to 80-85%, well enough to give us a spectacular show! Like a crescent solar moon, giving off blue light on the grass and trees; you could see the slightest solar flaring from the top of it. Even with the solar glasses, it’s a bit rough on the eyes. I would not even dream of trying to look at it without them. (Roswell got the full eclipse.)
Sounds beautiful! I’m too far north presently, but I think it very interesting that we will have had 3 significant eclipse paths across the states within 6-7 years. I was in the path for the 2017 event in its totality and it coincided with some significant life changes.
Not sure where I’ll be in April…
@nperpetuity
I don’t think anyone is sure where they’ll be in April.
The eclipse was magnificent…
Absolutely stunning! Thanks so much…
