Are there any good search engines anymore?

The best one I have found lately is mojeek.com … but there have got to be better ones out there. From what I can tell duckduckgo is as sorry as the rest of them… But I was interested in knowing if anyone had a better one?

I’m still on Duckduck, its really deteriorated - same half dozen results page after page. Hoping someone on here knows of a good one. Does anyone know anything about Brave?

I find Duckduck and Brave both rather weak in terms of connecting me with my search interests.
(And strangely enough, ditto for my local library Ebsco Host – has also become weak).

Sometimes I use Startpage: https://www.startpage.com/

I’ve been using startpage since duck duck go started selling data. Not sure if there’s something better. I hope so.

Install the Onion browser:

Then search the usual browsers for in depth results.

I used to use swisscows but anymore it’s just Google. What difference does it make.

World Cat is still good I think but only searches library catalogs.

I just get tired of censored one sided searches and I don’t like giving Google my data or support… People can’t get good information about anything important/controversial on Google. I like reading all kinds of articles, not just the ones Google will let me read.

When I do a google search for something, usually it will locate over 1 billion websites… but only about 100 are available for me to view.

That why I’ll let you search for me :joy: just kidding.
