Absolutely, some of those early astounding stories were the stuff of nightmares. I’m not sure but I think a few of the twilight zone episodes may have been based on those post war sci-fi publications.

I am just starting out with so many of these ideas, I will look forward to reading this book once I am finished with the Cosmic War. I keep getting lost trying to dig into these ideas myself but its most likely all there in the good doctors work! I will get around to it 
A control device shaped like an electronic eye - I mean, can the symbology be more obvious and nefarious?
Like I referred some time ago about this, this “system” was implemented here in Portugal supposedly by a Swiss company. They paid 100€ for each person scanned at stands in local shopping malls. I saw adolescents happily taking their grandparents in order to make an easy 300€ in 10 minutes. It was ruled illegal after more than 300,000 people giving away their biometric information…
