Strange that a detective in a small podunk Texas town would be the one to pull them over for following too close? Detectives don’t normally ride around like a traffic cop, that’d be beneath their calling…Being pulled over for following too close by any cop is a rarity in itself, unless you are behind the cop which would be even more rare. Yeah, something ain’t right. Strange how the “dot connecting” was extrapolated and conclusions reached on a few facts…they were probably tracked from the get go…the guys were probably just couriers doing a gig job. How else to make money without a green card? The big question is finding out who owned the gold bars and how did they pay for them. Big Brother wants to know…
and the local yokels want a little recognition for discovering the gold. After all not much normally happens around there.
