ASKED WHO BUILT THE UNIVERSE, AI SPITS OUT A BIG DEISTIC YAWN

You might have guessed I’ve been on this artificial intelligence craze lately, largely because I believe the hype is way-over-selling its capabilities and benefits. A case in support of that conclusion is today’s story shared by VT, and it’s a corker, a real whopper doozie of a snooze fest of coded gobbledeegook parading as wisdom…

AI comes across as an attempt to convince humanity the unbridgeable link between science and the humanities has been found. Faith is about as close as we can get to knowledge.

Despite everything, despite all the extremely highly educated minds, despite the fact that artificial intelligence is based on quantum hardware…the wrong questions were asked…that’s why the answers are the way they are…
But there is hope…“The Thing”…still remains…:slightly_smiling_face:

What if the universe is not built at all?
In the way we ordinary “normies” take for granted?
What if the word building is dropped out from the question completely?

And a different hypothesis or question is constructed and asked, without using this word for example.?

Just saying…

…without form and void…but waters where present… and “The Thing”…:slightly_smiling_face:

That is one good analogue treatise, dr. Farrell, with a emphasis on analogue

… only if one is a Nominalist.

I meant science can’t prove or disprove the existence of God. Faith stems from the humanities, not science.

Blockquote After a long silence, the lead researcher typed in the seven words that had haunted humanity for ages: “Who built the universe and why?”

Uh…‘journalist’, that is six words. LOL Linkedin.

The purple prose, the hyperbole even sound like the article was written by so-called AI:

Blockquote Three days after the initial query, something happened that made the lead researcher’s hands shake. At two seventeen in the morning, Willow generated output on its own. No prompt. No input. It just started producing data, as if the first question had opened a channel that remained active.

Really? Did you interview this ‘lead researcher’ to ask for his physical reaction?

The whole thing is so bad…

Blockquote The answer we received was not a being, but a blueprint; not a story, but a source code. We may be living inside a vast, self-sustaining reality that was designed, built, and then left to evolve on its own. The evidence suggests that its creator never intended to return. If we are the heirs to this reality—the minds through which the cosmos finally understands itself—then the ultimate responsibility for what comes next rests with us. The universe has revealed its secret. Now, it waits to see what we will do with our inheritance. - Balram R | AI For ALL

It reads like nothing more than an AI written advertisement. …for more AI.
Terrible.
