I would AGAIN caution folks to remember what Iโve been warning about FOR YEARS: the fulfillment is the deceptionโฆ
@vardas3
A question, please: Did you see the current viewpoint in writings/opinions before Scofield, or, was that Version the origination of it?
There were antecedentsโฆ particularly in Joachim of Fiore, who has a kind of post-millenial dispensationalism, which comes with its own Bible Maps of the Agesโฆ
@vardas3
Thank you. I need to research that more. My dividing lines have been โthe raptureโ, as a separate event apart from The 2nd Coming and the dividing up of segments of biblical times into somewhat absolute โdispensationsโ by men. Might have to re-adjust that criteria, cast a wider net, IDK. Those divisions are very bothersome.
I need to know more.
Though a student of prophecy for a time, I avoided those in the New and Old Testaments.
Does your theory encompass all prophecy?
Mostly the dispensensationalist interpretations of Christian eschatology, but to a much more limited extent, the eschatological expectations of Islam (Imam Mahdi) and Judaism (Messiah).
