Fairly shocking number of the comments deny the violation of “the laws of physics” represented by such open circuits.

The electrical phenomena is caused by the spin and kinetic properties of the charges trapped in the chips. The kinetic energy of the charges is exchanged such that, in principle, it is conserved (no violation) overall; but for the conservation to occur, the charges are obliged to find some other source of energy for their constant work, cancelling local gravity (violation). Thus the charges are forced to draw energy from their environment simulating a living organism. The energy draw may be in either sensible thermal (electromagnetic) heat or ambipolar (massfree electric).
