I am noticing some patterns through images that are filtering through various parts of the world. I thought I’d share a more recent occurrence in case anyone here finds it of interest. I do tend to think that we get images via social media because of banal AI algorithms.
A few days ago someone shared a strange image. This was after FB’s Meta announcement. I have been involved in Virtual World development in the previous iteration. And am interacting with developers in the current iteration. So this is likely why this image made its way into my awareness via social media. Notice the facial construction. And the weak body form. This is from the fashion design sector:
Next arrived a talk by James Tunney, (wonderful talk BTW), on contemporary artist Francis Bacon, who lived from early 1900s until 1992. It has been said he was likely genetically associated with the infamous Francis Bacon who lived during Shakespeare’s time. During this talk Tunney shared a striking image created by Bacon in the 1990’s, so as an elderly person. It shows great perception into what we are currently experiencing. The definition of a small, defined space, where we are confined, and a distortion of our facial features. Again, Bacon was elderly when he painted this. Please note I found this important to say as there is much elder diminishment in our culture, with assumptions that the elderly are not able to add value to our culture, have no useful perceptions, etc. This perception is encouraged to expand by discussions about Biden. Who I think is likely being used to represent this prejudice and for other useful purposes. But here, as an elder, Bacon was very insightful and productive.
Next I attended a Twitter Live hosted by a group of Blockchain developers, who were discussing NFT use and a certain blockchain. They were not gathered to consider the exploitation of NFTs or Images for value. But because of my participating, the Twitter AI sent me this GIF of a series of 3D images created by an artist in Dubai. These had an strong semblance to the above two images. There is much truth in these images as well. I am not aware of the C O V mandates etc in Dubai. I have a sense it is not the same as in Western Europe, or the US.

I think these images have some authenticity… meaning that they authentically represent something occurring in our culture. They were inserted into a stream of influence.
I found this interesting— whole sequence of events. Here is the link to the Tunney talk about artist Francis Bacon, if anyone is interested.
Link to Interview with James Tunney, by Jeff Mishlove.
BTW, for those not familiar, Jeff Mishlove has a long history with people such as those associated with SRI,( Stanford Research Institute), including Russell Targ, and Hal Puthoff, and recent AI partner with certain blockchain devs, Ben Goertzel. To learn more about AI current developments, and relationships, it is worthwhile to listen to Jeff’s wonderful interview with Ben before his involvement with blockchain. Ben is a very smart guy.
Here is an amazing interview with Tunney on William Blake:

Here is an amazing interview with Ben Goertzel, before his involvement with Blockchain, also, with Jeff:
