It’s peculiar how these “assassination attempts” keep getting less and less serious.
First, we get a failed academic “lone wolf” attempting to bum rush through a secret service checkpoint by himself. The man had barely a prayer of getting anywhere near Trump. It’s very likely he lacked any experience or training in weapons, which explains his woefully inadequate choice of firearms (a shotgun paired with low caliber hand gun). As far as I’ve heard no signs of expanded capacity, no enhanced optics, and very poorly conceived and executed plan. Not a serious assassination attempt IMHO.
Now, we’re see random pot shots with small arms fire that, given all of the physical security of the White House, are again not a serious threat to Trump at all.
It’s certainly possible these are organic, spontaneous acts of violence, as “the natives are restless” given all the lies and broken campaign promises strewn around this administration,
Otherwise, if there’s any planning here, these are just desperate attempts at narrative shifting and distraction from Trump’s disastrous campaign in the Middle East.

Either is possible, but I’ve never seen anything like this in The US. I think even more than the two reasons given above, this might be a map to gun control.
