If Trump actually goes forward with this, next weekend is Memorial Day and an extra day that US markets are closed.
Sure looks like Trump made a deal when he went to China. Let Russia and China have Iran, and Trump gets Cuba, without interference. I think The Russians and/or China told Trump they would step in if he launched further attacks on Iran. Pure speculation on my part, of course. Besides, enough allied competition has been destroyed to make U.S. ports look attractive, and voters are getting tired of Trump and others wasting money; and it was a waste, left unfinished.
(On another note, I think Thomas Massey will ultimately be happier to be out of Trumpville, although the way he was treated makes me sad.)
There’s no such thing as unbiased news, but if this report is even half true, it could explain why Trump is bailing.
