Buying the latest JPF book

I just tried to purchase JPF’s new book, The Demon In The Ekur from Adventures Unlimited. To do so, the site ‘forces’ me to create a Paypal account, something I am not willing to do (bad experiences in the past folks!!). Apart from Amazon, another site I avoid, is there another point of sale for the book that sells directly via credit card without any ‘intermediary’ such as Paypal???

Paypal has nothing but aggressive, bothersome algorithms;
that won’t leave you alone. If you can avoid them; do so.
From my perspective; that’s a brand to avoid - at all co$t.

Adventures Unlimited has a form in their catalog one can use to buy books. I got that route. It is not as quick as going through the internet, but it is cash, and it is done

Living in Manila makes using such a catalogue difficult…where would I even get one?

My point exactly Robert! But what are my alternatives? I bought the latest Giza book from the Adventures Unlimited site and didn’t have this problem. Is my only alternative to wait til the book is actually out there and see if I can get it then?

That’s how I now know.

I don’t know, I’m not a fan of paypal either but I was able to make a new account with them even though they had said I was banned from their platform for life with no reason at all given turns out that wasn’t true.

If someone with the catalog wants to order one to be shipped to you in Manila maybe you could send them money for that another way? I don’t have the catalog but if you want I could order you one and pay with my paypal for that I think that would work.

Looks like you can order the catalogue to be mailed to you here:

Thanks for the help Bahri :slight_smile:

Hey Beat: Same thing happened to me. I called the company and spoke to a very nice lady, who took my order over the phone and took my credit card number. The postage was less too.
