Canadian MLA speaks out about sneaky government deal that affects private property

In Canada, Dallas Brodie, an MLA (provincial member of legislative assembly) has given voice to a deal that was made between the federal government and an Indian band to give that band land title to an area in which 2 million people live in Vancouver. The mainstream news have been quiet about this secret deal that was negotiated without the knowledge of the public whose properties are affected, or of the sitting members of parliament or provincial legislative assembly of the affected political ridings.

Only a few small independent outlets have started reporting on this:

  1. Juno: B.C. Conservatives in uproar after Eby says he was unaware of Musqueam agreement
  2. New West Times: PDAC 2026 Dispatch: Musqueam Agreement Remains Vague as Record Mining Conference Opens in Toronto
  3. Western Standard: RUBENSTEIN: Who owns Vancouver? The Musqueam Agreement and quiet redefinition of land title in Canada

In Canada you get fined $750,000 just for hurting a Communist’s feelings.
You’d get fined even more for “well, you know…”
