This is too bad about the crash, can’t imagine what caused this. If the engine failed the pilot would have been able to at least glide down to the water’s surface, but the plane hit the water in a steep dive. Could have been a mechanical failure with the flaps that triggered an uncontrolled dive, or something else happened on the plane that caused this. Hope Liszt will investigate.
