@bluenose and Others
I don’t remember what Providences you’re in but, please let me know if you’re alright. This is horrible!
Nova Scotia and we’re fine here. We got very little freezing rain here.
@sunnyboy in south B.C. probably clear of these storms in Victoria?
I was suprised to see a little snow last week, that is unusual for this time of year in marine climate not too far south from Canada. Storms can be a lot worse further from the oceans inland where there isn’t the thermal mass of water to moderate abrupt temperature shifts.
Looks familiar. That is what we experienced here in Central TX. It will take us years to clean up the fallen trees and branches. The Adirondacks had a similar storm in January of 1998 (I think that was the year) and we were out of power for over 2 weeks in -20F temperatures and impassable roads for even longer since the storm washed out many roads before turning to ice. My point is, these storms happen…
Thank you all for checking in; the storm missed us in Victoria (despite the dire warnings for last night). Light rain just now, … We have found that the weather forecasts are next to useless here, as the weather in this area seems to be “controlled” by non-natural forces (chem trails constant here).
I don’t believe chem-trails control the weather, they are trying to do that but there are way more powerful cosmic winds of light that can render those inert.
The weather systems here are mainly controlled by the Olympic and Cascade mountain ranges, when storm fronts roll in from the ocean and hit those that creates all kinds of madness in the weather can be completely different just a few miles away and changes every five minutes.
Thanks for checking in and the link to the event in Quebec.
@sunnyboy how is the weather in Victoria this week?
Has been a lot of wind and rain recently here in the south, a little hail in the rain now and some thunder. Lost power for just a short time last week branch fell on power lines not nearly as bad as last wind storm.
No wonder your nose is blue…that’s quite northerly…
Sounds like your weather is more exciting @Bahri.
We’re getting some spring (maybe) weather – bluish sky with chemtrails.
