Cancellations happening again?!

Yes Sir, Bobby! Here we go.

Tyler’s in his 70’s so will be too difficult to convince the normal it was anything other than the expected.

The rest of them, IDK; not a fan of most of them, but certainly wish them well. All in all, if Tyler kicks it, many will literally go into mourning. He’s truly a great Rock/R&B vocalist.

It’s crazy how this appears cyclical. I don’t hear anything for months and then all of a sudden that’s all I see out there.

The dialectic keeps dialing in.

It’s been happening and is increasing. At least, the puppet deaths are increasing. We’ll never get the straight scoop on real numbers anywhere.

Well it is the flu season…

Is it not strange that Billy G and Schwab seem to live for ever?

Probably the youthful blood products they utilize.

Also a fiend

I was thinking the same

… Bill don’t you mean “flu” season. Asking for a friend …

Yes, that’s the ticket. Or maybe “flew” season as the truth flew right by the journalist.

I agree. This incident is well known. They all have such disgusting events in their lives. (Jimmy Page, even Waylon Jennings are 2 more.) Pretty much standard in order to get where they are.

One of the few musical artists who stayed away from the raunchy side of the business.
He grew up in it but did not partake. He was into the music. His performances lift your soul.

You can also add the band Dead can dance to the list.
…for “Health Reasons”

Patti LaBelle performed last Saturday at age 78. Her only problem was a bomb threat at the stadium.

… Nice one Bill!

… Absolutely! I was fortunate in my younger days to have worked a show of his. At that time the groups lineup was
Pat Metheny - guitar
Dan Electro - sitar, slide guitar, acoustic guitar (6 and 12 string)
Lyle Mays - piano, synthesizers, bells, organ, trumpet
Steve Rodby - acoustic, electric bass, and bass drum
Paul Wertico - drums, cymbal
Pedro Aznar - voice, bells, acoustic guitar, percussion, whistle, guitar, acoustic 12-string guitar
Having worked and seen a number of shows over the years this is still a show that ranks on my top 5 list.
Unfortunately Lyle Mays died in 2020. For this show 2 of us were assigned to Mr. Mays to assist him in setting up his keyboards. Even through having been through the strain of a lengthy tour (ours was one of the last shows on this particular tour) you wouldn’t have known it. He was kind, and cordial to everyone working the show. This is something that I can’t say for the majority of musicians and their crews for whom I worked. So that it is on the record Billy Squier and the road crew for Def Leopard were also incredibly gracious. So much great music from Mays so hard to pick one … but here goes. Enjoy!

Wow thanks. What an experience up close and personal. He has the knack and the respect of others to gather the best musicians. Now he’s giving the up and coming musicians the learning opportunity he experienced from others.
Ralph Towner is another jazz artist worth mentioning. I have his 1973 album “Diary”. When I first heard his “Icarus”, the soaring of a spiritual flight was amazing. One of my all time tunes.
