Got this after reading halfway through Cory Cory Doctorow’s Excrement Book Title.
In a video, with a fellow early-tech friend; they both talked about how Facebook author Wunn-Williams new memoir about Facebook, was absolutely hated by Zuckeberg. How he tried to quash the book.
So I had to get it[Not at my library].
I got it today. I’m on page 32.
Problem is; I can’t read her as not - with “intelligence”.
Everything about her screams “Intelligence”.
She’s a United Nation’s employee working as an environmental lawyer.
Her boyfriend is a journalis with the Financial Times.
[other tell-tales, but you get the gist]
This is before, even her employment with Facebook.
This has led me to believe a high-percentage these writers are in the HUGE Narrative “business”
of GLOB intelligence; regarding the internet, platforms, and other subject matters related to it.
Granted, my jaundiced gimlet eye; is more jaded than a Philip Marlow inside a Rockefeller Mansion.
For I cannot read them, without reading them as; remorseless, deception-itself-personified, narratives of perception management.
[still, it’s written so innocently; that there’s a modem of doubt lingering.]
Perhaps, I need get back to reading science-fiction; which is much more believable.
