Well, from this picture and the restrictions imposed, the ānatural formationā theory should be questioned.
They say itās āSacredā and near to uncontacted tribes etcā¦seems convenientā¦If it is a pyramid, itās the biggest yetā¦ They ought to send in Indiana Jones for a look seeā¦

ā¦ not sure how a āprimitiveā tribe would enforce a no-fly zone over the pyramid. But then arms dealers have been know to sell shoulder fired stinger missile launchers to almost anyone. 
Even so, there are satellite based LIDAR systems that could be used.
