The decoy rifles in particular the 30-06 is being pushed all over the internet. Neither is a possibility.

There are reports that Kirk was wearing a plate carrier under garments and the shot through his neck was a ricochet. Iām open to this explanation a 30-06 even a low grade light grain round would penetrate Kevlar plate carriers, and it stands to reason a low grain rounds are not selected for such operations due to lower muzzle velocity for shots over 100 meters.
Using the videos publicly available and software and calculating the shot from first sound, to echo, to hitting the soft target and the theoretical muzzle velocities of common round below, Iāve calculated a likely x>1100 ft lbs. narrowing the list of plausible weapons substantially.
The owners of the plane operate a NGO in Utah for sexual abuse victims. More than likely they were probably taking someone to the Salt Lake International airport, not necessarily the guy from the university.

The Delaware registration would make sense and perfectly legal to avoid additional taxation. Utah has an income tax. They also have a cosmetics company that helps finance the NGO.

30-06 is a typical hunting rifle used in that part of the country, not exactly an assassinās pickš¤.
A higher grain .308 round would have a significantly larger entry wound that close the lateral border of the neck. It would have blown chunks of flesh off.
Shooting geek-out warning: So most people donāt know that when shooting up, or down a slope the point of aim to point of impact will change (gravity/time are acting differently than a flat horizontal shot). I did an AI request and it identified that a shooter must aim UNDER the intended target by about 8" at that distance to hit point of aim.
That said, the shooter was likely aiming at center of mass, the upper chest and due to the downward aim vector the bullet struck high in Mr Kirkās neck.
Those WWII surplus Mauser rifles re-barrelled with USA surplus to 30-06 were extremely common (mail order) in the fifties and sixties. Iād guess many (most?) of them never were entered into a Federal Firearms Licensee book. Certainly going back to an importer/refurbisher from the fifties/sixties to look for serial number records is not going to work well. Excellent rifles and a pretty flat shooting cartridge. At 200 (flat) yards it would normally drop about 3.5". It dropped less due to the downward shooting angle.

Have you noticed between luigi mangione, the Minnesota congressman shooting, and the kirk shooting in the past year all of these people make incredible escapes that are harder then the assassination itself

It was odd the fbi didnāt release the photo of the suspect earlier today. I wonder if there could be some quantum retro cuasation reason in not releasing the photo. Until the photo data is known the wave hasnāt fully collapsed

I canāt help but think the carolina situation was meant to prime the pump of outrage for the kirk situation. It came out several weeks before the subway murder that he alleged the government was controlling his body when he was arrested for misusing 911.
Prior to the kirk news yesterday, the algorithm on Twitter was showing me people I do not follow calling for separating of the races, lynching, and same day trial and execution for the accused, as well as laws for making judges civilly liable for chaos people make with low bails.
The kirk story through nuclear fuel on an already raging fire of outrage. This will be taken advantage of just like 9-11-01.

Charlie was excellent in his craft of debating. He had a way with making left woke professors look foolish. I could see where he would have posed a great threat to Mr. Global and the decline of the west. He genuinely cared about freedom, educating people and making our country prosperous while maintaining christian dignity.
