Received a post card from this Oakland CA org addressed to someone that may have lived at my address over six years ago. Evidently they are tracking down missing democrats…
And this one is a partner.

I received a text from Beto group asking if I would vote for him. STOP to not receive.
My response back was:
“No, we don’t need any more rich kids telling us what to do and living on tax payers money. Man up get a real job.
Haven’t heard anything back.
Why are you not as sarcastically enthusiastic about killing adult women?
However you define this area of human existence, it is complicated, and nasty.
Modern medical science has given us the ability to save the lives of some women who experience complications in pregnancy. In many cases, the fetus would not have survived anyway, or is already dead when the woman presents with a problem that threatens her life.
Republican judges and politicians have now stopped those vital and morally upright medical interventions from happening.
I’m not interested in getting into a scoreboard of how many women to how many fetuses die, but make no mistake.
Nobodies hands are clean here.
“God” designed it that way.
You are absolutely correct IMO. Every situation is unique and different. It appears to me that most of us would want to make the most humane decision regardless of politics.
For the political part, I believe we are being played by both sides of the same coin once again. One side wants to shove everything down our throats knowing we will repel while the other side tries to correct it with over the top reasoning.
I do not think people should use abortions as birth control and abortions should not be funded with tax payer’s dollars. On the other hand I do believe it’s your choice to make these decisions (free will).
This is another text book “divide and conquer” issue that politicians will use on the general public. Sometimes I wonder if even the politicians are aware how they’re being used as tools
.
The two strongest drives for humans are hunger and love. Mess with either one or both and we are easily controlled for whatever the intended reason.
r they sending money as well? i’ll give my debit-card’s number and all the banks my flow
i never died of hunger in the past decades.
love is the greatest drive i believe along with knowledge. but what they made of love is a slippery slope and search for knowledge is directly dangerous.
May be true for some, many aren’t so lucky as to be aware of the traps of managed perception.
Hopefully, I misunderstood your post; perhaps it was meant as something else other than how it reads. Perhaps, I should just delete this thread. Nevertheless, in case you really mean what you wrote, here goes:
First of all we are talking about babies!!! Killing innocent humans at their most venerable time of life; when they have no defense. The Gnosticism of exchanging and redefining words to lessen their meaning does not change the reality; the effect of what those words describe. These babies are the product of a profitable industry: harvesting their cells while they are still alive, using their cells/DNA to make chimeras; selling the parts of their bodies for experimentation and in making pharmakeia (adrenalchrome et al) and cosmetics… The rare, today, life of the mother excuse has nothing to do with what is going.
God has nothing to do with the murder of babies. There is nothing “vital and morally upright [about such] medical interventions.”
“As in the days of Noah …”
It’s just not as simple as you make it out to be…which is why I raised the cases where a woman’s life is threatened by a fetus that is already dead.
Where is the moral hazard in saving that woman’s life? What possible justification could there be for making her carry a baby without a brain for another month, and forcing her to give birth?
Perhaps a less controversial example.
A woman in Missouri was recently denied her regular monthly prescription to treat rheumatoid arthritis. The pharmacy refused to dispense the medicine until they heard from her doctor that she wasn’t going to use it to induce an abortion. (EDIT:she wasn’t pregnant)
Five million Americans are on that medicine, mostly autoimmune patients. Should those who are women of child bearing age be forced to undergo a monthly invasion of privacy, where the guy behind the drug store counter asks them highly personal questions, demand extra communication with her doctor etc?
The point here is, banning abortion has a LOT of collateral damage.
Those jumping for joy at all the babies saved should not forget there is a real cost in human lives and suffering when government makes these decisions, rather than the individual.
PS* I shouldn’t have written the “God” thing in my previous post. It was flippant, and I apologize to the forum. I won’t edit it, because I believe in owning your mistakes.
